- Register to get an Identity Number Using this Form
Before you can be included as a researcher on a new project application, you must have an existing identity in our database. If you have never been a user or researcher associated with a project on the NCI National Facility systems before, use this form to register. It will return to you an "identity number" which may be used instead of the "existing login" field on the project forms. Please do not save your identity multiple times. - Do not use this form if have been a user or have registered in the past
If you have been a user or have registered in the past but have forgotten your username or identity number, please email to to ask for it. You will need to send some detail of the context of your previous identity, e.g. where you were working or what projects you were associated with as well as your name. - Request for Login Access
Once you have a registered identity, use the Connection Request Form to identity the project you will be accessing under. This form will send an email to the Lead CI of the project asking them to confirm with us that they approve of your connection on the system. Your application for a login and connection to their project cannot be processed until we do get their approval. - Update Your Details and Research Track Record Information
Chief Investigators on projects will need to enter (and periodically update) their research track record information. If you are a Chief Investigator on a project your research track record information will be loaded for the new or renewal project application. When you have a registration id but no login access you can update details and enter research track record using the registration id number and your surname to identify yourself. After you are issued with login access you will be required to use the more secure details update form. Students and others on the project are not expected to have a research track record, so their role should be selected as a "researcher" as opposed to a "chief investigator".
