Most users will prefer setting up the GUI (viewer of cae) on their desktop machine. However, if you need to use the viewer over the network from the systems you will need to ensure that you have a client that supports OpenGL calls. On PC's this means installing an X-windows server. A common choice has been X-win32 from StarNet. The site includes the download of software with short-term demo license for evaluation.
