What is SCSL

SCSL (SGI Scientific Computing Software Library) provides a variety of mathematical subroutines. There are procedures for dense linear algebra (LAPACK), signal processing routines, direct and iterative linear equation solvers, parallel random number generators and ScaLAPACK for distributed memory routines.
