| Call for New Projects at the NCI National Facility | The NCMAS is calling for applications for new projects for the remainder of 2013.Resources are available at the NCI National Facility, the Specialised Facility for Bioinformatics at UQ , the VLSCI Peak Computing Facility and the Massive Facility. See ncmas.nci.org.au/applications for more details. The closing date is Monday June 3, 2013 |

| Vayu build complete. 6 April 2010 |
The final two racks of the Sun/Oracle Vayu system have been put into production today. This brings vayu to its full complement of over 11900 cpus or even 140 TFlops peak computational capacity. |
| Vayu second stage in production. 11-12 March 2010 |
The second stage of the Sun/Oracle Vayu system is being merged and will be in production from Friday. The new Vayu will be a ~7x increase in capacity over the first stage. |

The first stage of the new Sun Constellation cluster, vayu, was doubled in capacity today. See the following email to users for further details on the system status. |
| Interim Sun System Accepted 18 Sept 2009 |
The first stage of the new Sun Constellation cluster, vayu, has passed acceptance and is now in production. |
| Sun Hardware Arrives 17 July 2009 |
The crates containing the first stage of the
new Sun hardware have arrived. The system will be installed starting 22 July 2009.
It will take a few weeks for installation of the Sun hardware and
the ANU software before acceptance testing commences. We expect the system
to be available to users in the second half on September. For more information see this email. |
